Hi there!
I'm Ash King, I have been a board-certified licensed mental health counselor since 2018. I have a passion for helping others navigate life's transitions and build resilience. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Anthropology and a concentration in Behavioral Analysis of Developmental Disabilities from Drake University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2018. I have worked with a variety of people, with a variety of presenting issues, starting my work in the human services world with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2013. I then went to work with individuals struggling with significant, persistent mental health conditions as a case manager, spent some time as a correctional officer in one of the state prisons, and worked as a direct care employee at a group behavioral facility prior to beginning my work as a counselor. Even once becoming a counselor, my experiences of diverse populations, peoples, and their experiences has
continued and I do my best to address each of my clients with respect and curiosity. Whether you're exploring your identity, relationships, or simply seeking a place to grow and thrive, I'm here to help. My approach to therapy emphasizes empathy, understanding, and developing tailored strategies that empower you to achieve your goals.
As a AuDHD, non-binary (they/them), queer clinician, I'm particularly committed to creating a safe and supportive space for individuals who feel like they're navigating a world that wasn't built for them. When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me enjoying quality time with my husband, friends, and four-legged companions (we have 5!), getting lost in a good book, or exploring the outdoors. These moments of balance and connection fuel my passion for helping others find their own path to fulfillment, while I work on finding my own.

Hello!
My name is Cherlyn, and I love to hear people's stories. Stories full of joy, sadness, grief, transition, hope, and more that are still in progress. As a counselor in training, I am honored to be trusted with your story and to help you navigate life's challenges, big and small. All of it matters because all of it is part of your story.
I am in the process of obtaining my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern College. I graduated with my undergrad in Children's Ministries in 2012 from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. I enjoy playing pickleball with friends, listening to music, getting lost in a good book or even audio book, and my grandma hobby is cross-stitch. I love watching the piece come together one little stitch at a time. I moved from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest, leaving family and friends behind so I deeply understand life's transitions and how hard and how good they can be.
It can be intimidating and difficult to take the step of asking for help, and I want to make that step as easy as possible. I prioritize safety, empathy,
and creating a space where you can truly be heard. I would love to help create a plan that helps you reach your goals. Your story matters and you deserve to be heard.

Hi, I’m Maddy!
I work alongside Ash as their assistant, helping with behind-the-scenes support such as scheduling and billing, so that Ash can stay focused on supporting you in your sessions.
A little about me: I’m a clinical social worker by background, and I’ve spent years working directly with clients and families. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how important it is to feel supported, respected, and cared for — not only in therapy but in all the details surrounding it. My goal is to make your experience outside of sessions as smooth and stress-free as possible, whether that’s helping with appointment scheduling or answering questions about billing.
I’m so glad to be part of Ash’s team, and I look forward to connecting further to assist with any concerns or questions you might have!
