“Where Healing Finds
it’s Home.”
At The Nest, I believe therapy should be a safe and empowering space for everyone. As someone who has been on both sides of the table, I know that the counseling process can be scary and can seem overwhelming. Do you feel like a round peg trying to fit into a square hole? Do you feel like you have been treating your mental illnesses been years, had several different diagnoses given to you, but never feel like you’re getting any better? How about feeling like you’re experiencing chronic fatigue and like you never have enough spoons to keep up with the number that you have going out on the day-to-day? My counseling practice aims to break the traditional counseling mold and provide services to those who need it the most. I see a need for a different type of provider, one who truly meets their client’s where they are at and helps them navigate some of the complexities of their symptoms that maybe don’t meet the traditional mold. The traditional counseling environment can be overwhelming and can feel uncomfortable. This can be really challenging for clients, particularly if they identify as neurodivergent or experience other challenges that make this process even more challenging than it already is.
I understand the challenges of navigating a world that doesn't always understand or accept you. I’m here to provide a judgment-free haven where you can explore your experiences, develop coping strategies, and embrace your authentic self.
